Frequent Questions

Do you have any available openings currently?

Yes, I do!  I recently added a HIPPA-compliant Teletherapy video platform in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic and have availability currently.  We will discuss your schedule and my availability during your free phone consultation.

What form of payment do you accept?

I accept payment in the form of cash, check, debit, credit card, HSA, or FSA.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I am in network with the following insurance panels:

  • Cigna/Evernorth insurance and am a participating provider in their EAP program.
  • NYDSP
  • Oscar Circle Plus
  • Oscar Health Plan
  • Oscar Small Group Plan
  • Oxford Medicare
  • UBH General
  • United Health Care

If you have other insurance, I am happy to work with you as an out of network provider and will provide you with the necessary documentation you need to be reimbursed if your insurance offers out of network benefits.

What if I have Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits?

My services may be reimbursable to you as out of network benefits depending on your insurance plan.   If you seek out of network reimbursement from your insurance company, I can provide you with a detailed invoice for your services.  However, you are responsible for payment at the time of our session.

Do you offer a sliding scale for lower income clients?

Yes, however, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots.  If you are interested in sliding scale, please let me know and we can discuss the options I have available.  If you are experiencing an urgent matter and cannot wait for a slot to open up, I will offer you a referral.

What can I expect from a session with you?

We will meet face-to-face in a comfortable, private office.  I will begin to get to know you and find out what has brought you to therapy at this time in your life.  I will provide feedback and seek understanding from you.  I will work collaboratively with you to parcel out the issues you are facing and assist you in prioritizing areas of focus.  We will work together to discover potential solutions for helping you achieve your goals.
